Catch up :)

It's been a while since I have posted anything..so I think it's time to play catch up.
We haven't been up to anything too exciting. Brady is still working at the motel and I'm still at the call center and Junction once a week.
We are currently in the process of trying to buy a house! I am soo excited and hope for once something can go as planned and it wont be a huge hassle to get it. We will be moving into my Grandma Karen's old red house in Kanab. She is giving us a really good deal on it and we would be dumb to pass it up. It has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, an attic and a basement. Its on a corner lot in the middle of town too and the yard is really nice. I can't wait to be living in an actual house and have a yard and not have to drive back and forth from Kanab and Fredonia all the time. Our dogs might be a little weirded out since the house only has carpet in the bedrooms, everything else has hardwood floors.

Since my last post we have celebrated our one year anniversary! Time flies when you're having fun! For our anniversary we went out to the Ranch for the day. I have always wanted to have our names carved in a tree, so we found a quakie (sp) tree close to the ranch and Brady carved our names and our wedding date. Even though the cabins were locked we had a great time :) I couldn't have asked for a better husband :D

Oh and we ate the top of our wedding cake..it was disgusting!! I couldn't stop gagging because of the nasty freezer burn :P

Christmas, New Years, and Dylan's birthday!

It has been a long time since I blogged anything..so I guess I should get caught up.
CHRISTMAS
So for Christmas we decided to stay home with Brady's side of the family. Since I started dating Brady we have always opened our presents Christmas Eve and slept all day on Christmas. We hadn't done hardly any shopping so we went to St. George pretty early to get the rest of our presents. St. George was pretty crazy so we didn't stay long.
our Christmas Tree..dont worry this was before we put presents under it lol

1 a.m. haha

NEW YEARS:
For New Years this year we went to Tori and Cash's house and had a steak dinner..it was freaking AMAZING. After dinner we kind of hung out for a little bit and then went home and watched movies until midnight and then went to bed haha. Some new years right?

WISDOM TEETH
On the 6th I finally got my wisdom teeth out. They had been killing me for too long so it was time to suck it up and deal with the dentist. Luckily I was able to find a dentist that put you out to take your teeth out. He was so worth the extra money. I woke up high as a kite and not remembering a single thing..thank goodness.

DYLAN'S 19TH BIRTHDAY
For Dylan's birthday we decided to go up to Salt Lake to see him. Well, maybe not see him but more so Ayden haha. Basically all we did was hang out with the family. Here are a few pictures from our visit :)

My not so epic Thanksgiving

Well Brady and I went to Salt Lake to have Thanksgiving my Dad's side of the family. We left super early on Wednesday thinking everyone was going to be there around two or so..turns out no one showed up until really late in the night.

Just like any other Thanksgiving we hoped there would be tons of amazing food and lots of shopping. However, it was just a lot of amazing food and tons of drama with my brother's crazy girlfriend Taylor. Seriously, she belongs in a freakin mental hospital. One minute she will be in an okay mood, then the next she is screaming bloody murder at my brother while my niece is in the car. She said she called the cops on my brother like 3 different times during the 3 days we were there..and not to mention put his PS3 out on their porch for someone to steal because she was mad that I wouldn't bring him right home since I had just barely got him to my dad's house.

Also, my sisters were able to come to Kanab for the weekend. When I got back from Salt Lake we went on a sister date night and saw Breaking Dawn (which is by far my favorite Twilight movie) and then they slept over and that was basically my weekend haha.
My Niece Ayden Jade with her mean face

Got her to smile in her first mirror picture with her favorite Aunt. I love my cabbage patch baby

Sisters before Breaking Dawn..this was like the 50th one my mom had taken that night :/

Yes, that is my 14 year old sister that is as tall as me...I'm the oldest and the shortest

This is gonna hurt

Today I just finished Nikki Sixx's new book called "This is Gonna Hurt", and in all honesty I think EVERYONE should read it. Basically the whole book is about not judging people how they look, because the ugliest of people have stories that make them more beautiful on the inside then on the outside. The inner beauty is what really counts. His pictures in his book are Ah-mazing!

I have always wanted a tattoo with words, and I couldn't think of a quote I want stuck on my body forever. Then it came to me why not a quote from Nikki Sixx and I found it and decided this is it "Just open your eyes and see that life is beautiful." I love it and it's perfect, no matter how bad it gets life is always beautiful. :)

First Blog EVER

Well I caved. I started a blog like everyone else. I figured since we got married I should probably keep one to keep our family updated about what is going on in our lives :).

Yesterday was our three month wedding anniversary-time goes by so fast! I am so glad to have found Brady, my husband, best friend, and love of my life. He is my rock. I know he will always be there for me as I will always be there for him.

The first day we met I can honestly say it was one of the most awkward days of my life. I went with caiti and Justin over to Luke Johnson's house. They wanted to go take a shot and I just sat in the car cause there was no way I was going to go into a house that had a bunch of people I had never met. So I sat out there for a good half hour freezing. Finally Caiti came out to the car and I thought we were going to leave. She decided they were going to stay there for a while so I might as well come in. Of course I decided to wear my "preppy clothes" as my sister calls them. I walked into the house and everyone just stared. I was the biggest outcast in that whole room. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE had on almost all black and were wasted. I was sober and in purple..go figure. Anyway, long story short I became best friends with almost everyone in that room. I was terrified of Brady for the longest time though. He just looked so mean, ornery and unfriendly. We got to know each other within the next three months and fell in love. Before we started dating or anything Luke would always say "Dude I'm going to laugh so hard when you two start making out just cause you have the same car." Not only did we have the same car, we had the same birthday month (July), brown eyes, same hair straightener, black hair, and both of our 21st birthdays are on Sunday. We had more of the same things, I just can't remember them right now hah. We started officially dating on March 7th of 2009 when he finally told me he loved me :) and well now we're married! <3

Here is a timeline from when we very first started dating until now :)
